Stuart Schaefer is a certified personal trainer. He became interested after bodybuilding for five years. After picking upBody-for-Life Stu started sculpting his body. After just 4 MONTHS, his entire lifestyle had changed. Stu had more ENERGY, more CONFIDENCE, and he started to enjoy life much more. Stu discovered that although working out can be fun and productive, you shouldn't let it dictate your life. There are so many other things to enjoy in life. Stu soon dove into the world of bodybuilding and discovered how many sources of information were available. The only problem was determining which sources were accurate. In April of 2004, Stu entered his first bodybuilding competition and took 4th place. This was a turning point in his life, leading him to discover Mike Mentzer. Mentzer had trained using a form of High Intensity Training. His idea was not that less was more (as many HIT advocates recommend), but that the precise amount of exercise was required to yield optimum results. Instead of training 20 sets per body part and spending 2-4 hours per day in the gym, one should only train one set per body part to momentary muscular failure and spend no more than 40 minutes in the gym once every 4-7 days. After training using Mentzer's principles, Stu started growing - A LOT!
Since then, Stu has worked on perfecting a program for building muscle, loosing fat, and getting into great shape! He has discovered that in order to see noticeable hypertrophy, one must weight train 2-3 times per week. This lead Stu to become a personal trainer. He realized how many people were misinformed and how much information (more specifically: wrong information) was available to the public. Stu spent years figuring out what worked and what didn't and he wants to make sure you don't have to waste your time searching. As a trainer, Stu's main purpose is to clear up common misconceptions and deliver the results that you are capable of achieving!
